Atul Nishar is the Founder & Chairman of Azent Overseas Education Ltd, an online offline EdTech Startup in the overseas education advisory space. With effective use of innovative technology, Azent aims at providing students the best possible admission guidance, to set them up for future success.

Nishar is the Founder & Chairman Emeritus of Hexaware Technologies Ltd, a well-known software company with 20,000 employees globally across 30 countries.

A serial entrepreneur by nature, Nishar founded Aptech Limited, a global computer education company, in 1985. He grew Aptech into a leading global IT training outfit with over 1000 centers across 40 countries.

Forbes Asia has listed Atul Nishar among the top 50 philanthropists of Asia in 2019.

He is the Chairman of Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Pune.

He was the Chairman of National Association of Software and Service Companies (NASSCOM) in 2000 and he continues to be on the executive council of NASSCOM.

Nishar has been the President of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) Mumbai from 2018-2020 and continues to be a part of the TiE Mumbai board.
